1) What a “donation” means here

WaveFibs is run by a natural person (individual) as a personal, non-commercial project. Donations are voluntary contributions that help cover hosting, research time, and tooling. No goods or services are sold in exchange, and donating does not grant premium access or special treatment.

2) Important notes

• Not tax-deductible: This is not a charity; donations are personal support and not eligible for tax deduction.
• No consideration / no perks: You receive no paid product, subscription, or priority service in return.
• Non-refundable: Donations are generally final. If a technical error causes a duplicate or incorrect charge, email us and we’ll work to correct it.

3) How to donate

3.1 PayPal or bank card

You can donate securely via PayPal. Card details are processed by PayPal; WaveFibs never sees or stores your card number.

PayPal will open in a new window. You can choose one-off or recurring monthly support.

If PayPal asks for a note, you can write “WaveFibs donation”.

3.2 Bank transfer (IBAN / sort code)

For EU or UK donors who prefer bank transfers, you can use the details below. Only send funds to accounts you recognise as belonging to WaveFibs.

Bank transfers are voluntary support for the WaveFibs project. They do not grant premium access or guaranteed results and are normally non-refundable except in case of technical error.

3.3 Crypto donations

Crypto donations go directly to wallets controlled via a hardware wallet (Keystone Pro). Always check the address and network before sending. Transfers are normally non-refundable.

4) Data & privacy

When you donate, the processor (e.g., PayPal or your bank) processes your payment data under its own privacy notice. For crypto, your wallet provider and the relevant blockchain network process the transaction. WaveFibs receives minimal data (e.g., amount, currency, timestamp, and a payment reference or transaction hash) for basic record-keeping and anti-fraud. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5) Legal basis

• Processing by us: our legitimate interests in receiving voluntary support and keeping basic records (e.g., to acknowledge a donation or resolve issues).
• Processing by the processor: performed by PayPal, your bank, or wallet provider as separate controllers under their own terms and privacy policies.
