DSA Transparency Statement

Last updated: 2025-10-27

1) Scope & role

Owner/controller: a natural person (individual) operating WaveFibs as a personal, non-commercial project. The site hosts limited UGC (blog comments) and links to off-platform communities (e.g., Telegram). This statement summarises how I meet EU Digital Services Act (DSA) transparency duties applicable to small online services.

2) Donations (not payment for services)

WaveFibs content is free. Any donation is purely voluntary and not consideration for any service or product. Donations do not create a client relationship, investment advice, portfolio management, or any obligation beyond acknowledging receipt where appropriate.

3) Moderation criteria (high level)

  • Illegal content (e.g., threats, CSAM, terrorism, sale of illegal goods/services).
  • Hate speech/harassment; privacy violations (doxxing); IP infringement.
  • Financial scams/solicitation; market manipulation (pump-and-dump, false signals).
  • Malware/technical abuse; spam; evasion of enforcement.

4) Measures I may take

  • Label, de-rank, restrict reach, remove content, limit features, suspend or ban users.
  • Report to competent authorities where legally required.
  • For significant actions, I will issue a brief statement of reasons to the user.

5) Notice-&-action channel

Report allegedly illegal content to [email protected]. Include: (1) URL/screenshot, (2) the rule or law you believe it violates, (3) your contact, and (4) a good-faith statement. I aim to review within 24 hours.

7) Internal complaints

You may appeal moderation decisions within 7 days by emailing [email protected] with the Decision ID. I aim to review and reply within 14 days.

8) Out-of-court dispute settlement

Where certified EU bodies are designated and applicable, you may use them after the internal process. I will cooperate in good faith with such bodies.

9) Repeat offenders

I may suspend service to users who frequently post manifestly illegal content or repeatedly violate these rules.

10) Average Monthly Active Recipients in the EU (AMAR)

WaveFibs is a small website, far below 45 million average monthly active recipients in the EU and therefore not a VLOP (Very Large Online Platform). I will update the figure here at least annually. AMAR (EU): [update number here].

11) Automation disclosure

No automated on-site content moderation is used at present. Anti-spam tools may operate in off-platform communities (e.g., Telegram). If automated tools are introduced on the website, I will document their use here.

12) Liability & legal note

Content on WaveFibs is provided “as is” for information/education only and does not constitute investment advice or a client relationship. To the maximum extent permitted by Bulgarian law, liability for indirect or special losses arising from reliance on information here is excluded. Nothing on this page limits any rights you have under applicable law.
